Micro Business Unite (Winter)
Far North decided it was time to celebrate the importance of Micro Business within the North East.
We hosted an amazing conference, at The Customs House, full of inspirational speakers, thought-provoking panel discussions, workshops, local exhibition stands, interviews, awards, an after party and more.
Not only was this a day packed full of motivational edutainment, there were game changing networking opportunities.
Micro Business Unite (Summer)
After the success and amazing feedback from our first Micro Business Unite conference, it only made sense to run another one!
We hosted another incredible day, at The Customs House. This entailed outdoor workshops, speakers, panels, audience discussions, networking opportunities, awards and more!
Business Storytelling
Far North wanted to share the great work our local businesses are doing.
We have ran several events, where we had a number of businesses presenting their business story Pecha Kucha style.
This was a fun way to encourage businesses to present and have fun whilst in a relaxed environment.
Who wants to be a Happipreneur?
Tony Robinson OBE embarked a tour of 70 talks in 70 towns, Far North were asked to hold the South Shields event.
We selected a venue, set up technology, cameras, microphones, etc., as well as a panel (hosted by Ian) and captured images and the audio throughout the night.
After the event, all images were provided and we edited the audio into a podcast episode.
Business Talks
Invest South Tyneside and Far North run monthly events where Ian interviews a local business who has some news or is performing well.
For example, Ian interviewed Alison Gwynn, the CEO from North East Screen.
Far North set up all the equipment, cameras and audio. This was recorded and made into a podcast episode.
April Fools Day - 8 Hour Livestream
We understood the impact lockdown had on individuals; we wanted to bring together a community again and remind people they're not alone.
Ian hosted an 8 hour livestream with 16 guests, back to back!
